Jenny Saville Retrospective

Jenny Saville (b. 1970) will have a retrospective of her work in the UK this summer at Modern Art Oxford from June 23 – September 16.  In a recent article in The Guardian the artist talks about her growth since her first big show at Saatchi Gallery at 21 years of age, offering her observations on a variety of poignant issues, including the contrasting cultural orientations to painting in the UK and America, the absence of women in museum shows, and her opinions on the contemporary art world.
